We have over 30 years of photography, film and video experience and provide a broad range of production related services designed to satisfy your creative and budgetary requirements.

In 1995 we became the first production facility in the area to move into digital editing with the addition of an AVID nonlinear system.
In 1998 we added a second AVID to our post production facility.

In 2000 we became the first fully digital production center in the area when we acquired a Sony DSR 500 WS DVCAM camcorder.
Added Final Cut Pro non linear edit system
Spring 2005 we added a Sony Z1U High Definition HDV camera system to our EFP kit.
In the spring of 2006 we added a Sony XDCAM HD High Definition camera system
Fall 2007 we added a Kesler Crane, High Quality crane system.
Spring 2008 We partnered with Thought Equity Motion as exclusive agency to market our HD stock video.
Summer 2008 a MicroDolly Hollywood dolly system.
Fall of 2008 added DogCam Sports Point of View camera system
Spring 2009 We acquired a new Sony HXR-MC1 High Definition Point of View camera system.
Summer 2009 added a Canon 5D DSLR, still and HD Video Camera

We can shoot and edit in both standard and High Definition, widescreen 16:9 mode and 4:3 mode.

We anticipate more use of high definition for production of both Standard Definition and High Definition DVD programs. We have the ability to produce your project in High Definition and down convert to widescreen or 4X3 format for delivery today while keeping a HD version for High Definition deliver in the future.

K2 Communications edit suite is powered by Macintosh, Mac Pro, G5, and G4 Systems. Software includes; Final Cut Pro 7, DVD Studio Pro, Motion 3, Color, Adobe Photoshop , Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, CineMotion, CineLook, Quicktime, and Media Cleaner.

We can master to XDCAM HD High Definition, HDV, DVCAM, DV, Blue Ray, DVD or Betacam SP. As well as formats for web delivery such as Quicktime, Flash, Windows Media. Other formats on request.

Independent producers in need of post production services will find these facilities more than adequate. They can be rented with or without the services of an editor.
